Please Note,

Approximately around this date, it was reported that many sunray thin clients lost network access, and that the problem didn't restore / revert to a working condition.

This doesn't appear to have affected all sunray thin clients. It appears to be related to network access, specifically requiring

  1. unplugging ethernet cable to the sunray
  2. unplugging power cable to the sunray
  3. re-plugging the network cable
  4. re-plugging the power cable

Once these steps are taken, the affected systems appear to regain connectivity and then work normally.

It is suspected this may have been related to some kind of "power bump" event, since some other network connected devices (printers maily) exhibited similar loss-of-network-access issues as well.

Precise timing is unknown, since TDC was on vacation then the problem arose.
