A power failure last night resulted in downtime for servers in POLAN. This was extended due to subsequent failure of a UPS unit which provided power to all network gear in the UPS server room. (Thus, even after all servers had come back online normally after the power was restored, they remained inaccessible because all networking equipment - switches and routers - remained powered off.)

TDC was onsite for a number of hours Sunday morning to restore service, reboot servers and apply required patches at the same time. Additionally, servers have been verified to be correctly updated to the correct time (in light of the early DST transition this year).

In theory, all services are now back to normal / working properly.
