11:15am Update:

Anchor has been rebooted, updated, and new drivers have been installed to resolve a known problem with system stabilty for this hardware running RHEL5 / CentOS5 Linux. With the new driver in place, this problem should no longer be an issue.

There are no more reboots planned in association with this issue. You may use anchor normally at this point.

Please be advised, the SunRay server was rebooted at 11:10am to "clear" frozen sessions (which were frozen due to Anchor NFS being offline for such an extended period). Once this server is rebooted, SunRay thin clients should begin working normally again.

9:30am Update

Anchor crashed last night at approximately 6:45pm. I believe this crash is for known reasons which can be worked around. The server will be rebooted a few times (approximately 10:30 and again at 11:00am) in order to resolve the problem.

If you choose to attempt any work (using anchor or data stored on anchor) between the anchor reboots this morning, be warned that frequent saves of your work would be advised.

An update will be posted here once work is completed.
